Amber Ealem is a self taught artist that has aspirations of being a Creature Effects Artist and hopes to one day be able to see her work in films and on stage.

The title of "Creature Effects Artist" covers a large group of people who can have a variety of duties during the course of their career. Their main focus is to design/visualize an idea through concept art, like 3D models, sketches and maquettes (sculptures), but they can also cover sound effects (monster/creature sounds) animating (both 3D and 2D), molding and applying prosthetics/makeup, or fabricating animatronics, fullbody 'monster' suits or creature props.

Amber is currently learning the craft of creature effects through the Stan Winston School of Character Arts, YouTube and various other medias. Her work is mostly done on a computer, such as 3D models or digital sketches but she also works with other mediums like charcoal/graphite, acrylics, oil or clay.

A well traveled individual, Amber uses things seen in everyday life as inspiration for her creature designs. Her main subjects for ideas are various animals, plants, structures and clouds, but she also often finds herself taking simple things like an oddly placed object's shadow, and twisting it into a fantastical otherworldly being.

Most of Amber's current work is being done in acrylics on canvas, cardboard or paper, as the computer her digital work was accomplished on has sadly died after many years of hard use.
