My name is Shirley Friesenhahn.  Since my retirement in 1994, I have been painting and drawing..  My favorite medium is oil color, but I do water color, color pencil, and graphite pencil.  I enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes, portraits,and flowers . I love color and my paintings are usually filled with movement , and I have been told that I am an expressionistic artist. I have studied the Bob Ross method of painting while living in Michigan.  Then in 1998, I moved to San Antonio, Texas and have studied painting with so many great teachers, Ahuva Shweike, Leonardo Benevedes, Anthony Gonzales, Karen Mccauley , and Joyce Bendele. Ihave enjoyed the friends that I have met over the years while doing what I love, painting.  OH WHAT A PASSION!
