My name is Mary Ann Buckheit and was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.  Throughout my career with the Department of Defense I was lucky enough to have worked in several locations, such as Maryland, Hawaii and Texas with my husband and two daughters. I started painting on a regular basis after retirement in 2016 and joined the Lytle Friendship Art  Club in 2017. I have enjoyed taking lessons utilizing acrylic, oil, pencils, and watercolor.
